Safety and Care

Our teethers are non-toxic, baby safe alternatives to the plastic, commercial products available today. MAE + Me uses naturally antibacterial Beech wood and food grade silicone to ensure our products are as natural as teething gets!


|| SAFETY ||

Keeping little ones safe is our number one priority. Our rattles have been independently tested and undergo new testing each year to ensure the safety of our products. As required by law, our items are CPSC Compliant! Each handmade item is checked throughout the process and given a final “pull test” before packaging. We work in a clean and smoke free environment, with clean hands!


|| CARE INSTRUCTIONS ||


Wash before first use. It is recommended you spot clean our products with a baby wipe or soapy cloth - rinse and pat dry, focusing on metal/wood items. Never submerge wood or metal items in water. Clean carefully around any engraving. Items that are all silicone can be placed Discard immediately if damage occurs.

  • Made With Silicone

    Products made out of silicone are able to be cleaned in the dishwasher, used in the microwave or put into a freezer! Silicone toys can even be used in the bath tub, pools, sensory bins and more!

  • Made With Wood

    Spot clean with a baby wipe or a soapy cloth. Rinse if needed, dry wood well. Do not submerge wood or use in sanitation machines.

  • Good to Know

    Do not let babies teeth on wood pacifier clips - clips are only for attaching to clothing or equipment. Discard immediately if damage occurs. CPSC recommends teethers and clips used regularly should be replaced every 6 months.

Are your wood rings and/or beads looking a little dry? Don’t fret – this is normal! You can rub any coconut oil, flax seed oil, or beeswax over the wood surfaces to revive the wood.
